Accessing Administrative Options
Point your browser to the web page where you have installed Secureloads. Just right after the installation, you will be automatically redirected to the login screen. Otherwise please click the Login link at the bottom of the page. You will be transferred to the login form, please enter the admin username and the password you chose in the setup procedure to access the administration panel.
Settings
Secureloads provides a number of configuration options to help you tune the software exactly to your specific needs. To access the configuration options, please click the Settings menu item.
Email Settings
For many actions, Secureloads sends out email notifications to you and your customers. In this screen you can customize these email sending parameters including the common header and footer for every email.
Email Templates
Here you can edit the text of email notifications that Secureloads sends out on various actions.
Managing Products
Next you will need to add and configure your products, please click the Products menu item. When accessing this menu first time, you will be redirected to the new product form. You will be asked to enter the product name and, optionally, description. Then go on to the pricing options.
Product Pricing Options
A pricing option defines a price for a time limited access to this product. You may set several pricing plans for every product, for example for $10 a customer can download the product during one month, and for $49 a customer is granted lifetime access.
Products List View
When clicking the Products > Browse, you will get to the products list screen. You will see the number of pricing options, active subscriptions, and sales totals for every product.
Payment Settings
Now, if you decide to accept online payments for your digital goods, you need to configure the payment settings, please proceed to the Payment Settings menu. First, you will see the payment settings overview screen. By default, the online payments are disabled.
Online Payments Overview
In this screen, you see the currently activated payment gateways, active currency, and price view format. You will be provided with the links to change all these options. Once everything is set up correctly, you will be able to enable online payments and start selling your digital goods from your website.
Managing Customers
As your website grows popular, you will be getting new customer accounts. Click the Customers link to proceed to customers browse screen you will see customer information, products purchased by the customer, and a link to create a new subscription for this customer.
Managing Subscriptions
Clicking the Subscriptions link, you will see the currently active subscriptions list. You will see the active date, renew cycle, customer information, money paid for this subscription. Options to extend or cancel suscriptions are also provided.
Front End Experience
Secureloads is very easy and straightforward for your customers. All they need to do is to choose the product from your offerings, then proceed to online payment form. On successful order confirmation, the customer will be redirected to the product download screen.
