Multi Admins - super admins

I have admin access, and I want certain other individuals to have the same access.
Although I have created a user and given him access to all, but he does not have the access to everything I have. When I log in and have a look at my permissions it says "This user is the Administrator and has the ALLOW ALL permissions to everything", I want him to have the same access as me, how can I do this?

Hello,
you can make another user as an administrator by editing the database - set the "user_type" column of that user account to 2.

You can easily do this with phpMyAdmin.

Re: Multi Admins - super admins

many thanks for your prompt reply - does this mean that I could create any number of 'super admins' by doing the changes to the databases you recommend?
Is there a limit?

Re: Multi Admins - super admins

yes you can create as many admins as you want. Although when creating this application, I didn't think that anyone will require more than one administrator account :-)
